Teabags in the bath

I often recommend teabags in the bath to clients for therapeutic reasons. Nettle is one of my most popular recommendations. Nettle is a natural anti-histamine so is wonderful for people with allergies. A nettle teabag in the bath helps to reduce histamine levels naturally, and is very soothing for people with sensitive skin. It can be used for all ages, even babies.

For adults I have two favourites which I often add at the same time - green tea and Dr Stuart's Detox tea. These help to cleanse and detoxify you.

My other recommendations for a healthy bath are to ditch the bath bubbles (or any other toiletries that you add) and instead opt for:

1 tablespoon of dead sea salts

1 tablespoon of epsom salts (check with your pharmacist if on medication)

3 drops of lavender essential oil

3 drops basil essential oil

All that is left to do is to lie back and enjoy!
